Originally from Canandaigua, NY, Lauren Corriveau graduated from Manhattan’s LIM College with a degree in Merchandising and Business Management. While Lauren worked in fashion for ten years, with a particular focus on brand development and trend forecasting, she always enjoyed her part-time working bars and restaurants. Later, on the opening team of high-concept Brooklyn bar Battery Harris, the process of developing a new space resonated with Lauren’ sexperience in retail and design and sparked her passion for hospitality and menu development. Shortly thereafter, Lauren was offered a role at Nitecap by co-owner Natasha David and left Fashion for a full-time career in hospitality. She was promoted first to the position of Head Bartender and soon after Bar Director, where for five years she played a significant role in running the business and shaping the brand. Lauren’s cocktails have been published in many prints and online journals such as Punch, Eater, Grub Street, Tasting Panel, Imbibe, Thrillist, NY Post, Breakthru Beverage’s Trident Almanac, Star Chefs and Sous-Vide Magazine. She has also been featured in multiple books including Cocktail Codex, Last Call, and How to Spritz French Fluently. After almost fifteen years in NYC, Lauren has recently relocated to Los Angeles, CA where she now works as a Developer &Trainer for Proprietors, LLC.
